KIRIN Masterclass Series | Deep Dive: Youth Soccer in China, Japan, and the U.S.

For this latest edition of the KIRIN Masterclass Series, we are honored to invite:

Atsushi Ito (Coach Ito) Head Coach of Hangzhou SKH Football Club

Together with KIRIN Sports, we are hosting a “China-Japan-U.S. Youth Soccer Symposium” specifically designed for Chinese families in North America.

---

For parents following youth soccer in China, Coach Ito likely needs no introduction.

During the 4th “2034 Cup” in 2024, Coach Ito led his team through a brilliant run, narrowly losing a hard-fought battle in the semifinals against the China Soccer Kids (China Zuqiu Xiaojiang).

After the match, he received high praise and recognition from renowned commentator Dong Lu, and has since been hailed by many parents as a “representative figure of Japanese-style youth training in China.”

Coach Ito has been deeply involved in Chinese youth soccer for many years. As the current Head Coach of Hangzhou SKH FC, he has developed numerous talented players and is one of the key coaches who systematically introduced Japanese youth training philosophies into Chinese clubs.

Key Discussion Topics:

• The fundamental differences between the youth training systems in China, Japan, and the U.S.
• The logic behind Japanese youth development and the secrets to its success.
